Job Description
Are you an experienced accounts expert who is looking to move into a support role to assist different clients with their accounting queries?

BMC Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working alongside an established business in the Durham area who are looking to recruit an Accounts Support Technician on a full time permanent contract. 
  
As a Accounts Support Technician, you will have experience working on ERP software systems such as Sage, Opera etc and be able to effectively solve accounting and system queries for different clients. 
  
This role would suit someone who has a varied knowledge of accounts, payroll and software systems. 
  
Knowledge of CIS and job costings would be desirable but essential. 
 
You will be trained on further ERP systems so you can support on various software systems such Pegasus Opera 3, Sage 200 and others. 
  
Job Duties include: 
  
The duties will include taking support calls and logging them on our CRM case management system.

Effectively answering any queries and running through accounting solutions with the client. 
  
Keeping the client up to date on the progress of any outstanding calls.
  
Liaising with the senior members of the team to resolve client issues.
  
Liaising with Software suppliers to resolve client issues.
  
Staying up to date with Payroll/ CIS legislation
