Job Description
Accounts Payable Analyst

Telford

Permanent

Up to £22,000

Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week

We have an opportunity to work with a well-established, highly successful company based in Telford. They are looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. The Accounts Payable Analyst will work with various members of the business to ensure all invoicing and financial requirements are met, working to create a smooth, accurate and timely payment process for all suppliers.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

* Manage payment runs

* Utilise data analysis techniques to ensure accuracy of data

* Proactively monitor technologies to identify potential errors before payment generation, and make adjustments immediately

* Implement internal controls when risks are identified

* Striving to achieve contracted payment days following receipt of customer payment

* Assure that customers, employees, and Service Administration follow established processes and review/update process as required

* Escalate when controls or payment and invoicing concerns exist

* Manage process by facilitating communication between all appropriate contact points including but not limited to customers, suppliers, and internal work streams to ensure accuracy and timely processing of payments

* Ensure any known delays are communicated to all relevant points of contact to ensure visibility and pre-empt escalations

* Document Work Instructions, process flows and provide training and support to the supported Finance department.

Skills and Experience

The company are willing to consider experienced candidates as well as people looking to get into a finance type role. This is a fast-paced role where strong organisation skills are needed.
