Job Description
Accounts Payable Administrator – Abingdon

Position: Accounts / Finance Administrator

Location: Abingdon

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum

Type: Fixed-Term (6 months)

Hours: Monday – Friday (40 hours weekly)

Great new opportunity for a skilled, professional Accounts Payable Administrator to join our client's team who specialise in managing shopfitting projects to tailor the needs of their clients. You will play a vital role as you will be responsible for the financial aspect of these projects creating, reconciling and matching supplier accounts along with other accounting duties required.

Responsibilities:

Daily/weekly:

Process of all purchase ledger invoices in the company accounting system
Process and manage all supplier payments in a timely manner
Chase up outstanding invoices to ensure good project housekeeping
Set up, review, and update all sub-contractors tax details
Assist with completion and submission of UK & European Vat Returns and CIS returns
Production of various monthly reports
Assist the finance department as required
Reconciling, clearing, and matching of supplier accounts on a monthly basis
Collecting and posting credit card transactions in a timely manner
Posting all bank transactions on daily/weekly basisMonthly:

Completion of monthly bank reconciliations
Reconciliation of Company petty cash including foreign currency

Requirements:

Knowledge of SAP (desirable)
AP experience (essential)
MS Excel proficiencyPersonal attributes:

Diligence & conscientious
Eye for detail
Desire to deliver to a high standard
Able to work under pressure
Good communication skills
