Job Description
The Business & Opportunity:

A new opportunity has been created to join this well-established business who provide major retailers with a number of household products. They are very much a market leader in their field, and much of their success is attributed to their employee care, which is reflected in their excellent staff retention.

On the back of a restructure, they are looking to recruit an Accounts/Office Administrator to be based at their Bingley Head Office.

Requirement:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will carry out a varied role which will involve both accounts and office administrative tasks. This will include:

* Process simple transactions including data entry of invoices/ customer receipts.

* Upload invoice information to bespoke customer portals for their review.

* Provide the first point of contact for all onsite visitors, responding to queries or referring to the relevant person.

* Manage telephone calls, respond to enquiries and redirect calls to appropriate recipient.

* Record, distribute and dispatch mail for the office.

* Maintain telecommunication system by following instructions for house phone and console operation.

* Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Order stationary supplies for the business

* Contribute to team effort by completing varied team tasks as needed.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

* Confident using multiple computer systems including EDI, and Microsoft office applications.

* Excellent planning and organisational skills.

* Experience of data entry.

* Good administrator with a good attention to detail and disciplined focus

* Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills with all levels

* A persistent problem solver, able to develop practical solutions in a timely and thorough manner.

* Able to plan and organise workloads and cope with changing deadlines

* Would fit in well with family feel, SME culture.

What’s on offer:

* A competitive salary in the region of 19-23k (dependent on experience).

* Free onsite parking at their Bingley premises (also in walking distance from Crossflats Train Station).

* 35 hour week, with an early Friday finish!
