Job Description
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a professional & enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join a well-established & leading manufacturing business based in Morley as they look to expand their busy finance function. Your role will cover all aspects of both purchase and sales ledger, assist in credit control duties, chase accounts receivable outstanding invoices, as well as managing all accounts queries through phone or email enquiry.

The ideal candidate will be able to adopt a flexible approach to the workload and be versatile to meet business needs. You will be involved in customer contact so excellent communication skills are essential both face to face and written.

Main responsibilities will include:

Including but not limited to:

oCredit Control / Statements
oCreation of new customer accounts
oBank reconciliation
oPetty Cash
oRaising Invoices / Credit Notes
oPurchase order processing
oSupplier payment run
oPosting of purchase ledger invoices

What are we looking for:

oRecognised accounts industry qualification or working towards
oAt least 2 years' accounts experience
oMust be computer literate (MS-office /Outlook)
oAbility to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
oExcellent attention to detail
oA working knowledge of Sage would be advantageous
oProactive communicative skills, with a strong customer focus and 'can do' attitude
oFlexible and responsive to changing priorities
