Job Description
IMMEDIATE START!! Construction organisation based near Birmingham Airport, Solihull are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to cover a 12 month maternity cover. IMMEDIATE START!!
Daily task you will cover will be:
Credit control
Obtaining payment applications from Project Managers
Check payment applications for subcontractors against GOMIS
Check all paperwork against GOMIS/BABSY/Invoicing spreadsheet
Process invoices using Nscale system
Send email and postal invoice. Print and scan invoices and statements
Update invoicing spreadsheet with invoicing, credit control and payment receipts
Dunn & Bradstreet checks
Update subcontractor’s information
Release supplier retention, liaise with them regarding any account queries
Liaise with project managers regarding invoices not to be paid
Liaise with Nscale processors in Germany regarding problems on invoices
Verify subcontractors on HMRC website
Update CIS spreadsheet
HMRC monthly return
