Accountancy Application Support Consultant , Finance/Accountancy Software, Support, NW London to £45K

An Accounting Support Consultant , is required to join this established financial software house based in North London. They work with some of the leading brands in retail and media, offering financial management systems developed in house by their small dynamic team of tech professionals. Due to growth they require an Application Support Analyst with knowledge of accountancy/ financial systems.

The role of Senior Application Support Analyst is to provide day to day support, guidance to the customer base and helping to grow and develop the product(s).

They offer an end-to-end financial and production management system designed specifically for Production companies. They utilize SAP Business One as the accounting engine providing a suite of production management applications for budgeting, forecasting and cost management.

Responsibilities

* Mentor junior team members

* Provide remote support to large customer base

* Take ownership of support tickets

* Investigate and problem solve issues

* Providing general assistance, training and advice

* Communicate with partners and clients via telephone and email

* Test and Document new and improved functionality

Requirements

* Proven experience in similar role

* General IT competency

* Knowledge of financial accounting packages (e.g. SAP Business One – Financials/BP/Banking)

* Understanding of budgets and accounting; TV Production experience a plus

* Experience in testing software

* Excellent communication skills, telephone and written

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

* Problem-solving aptitude

* BSc/BA in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Studies, or a related field; professional accounting experience a plus

* Smart and presentable appearance

* Professional attitude

* Clear speech, good spoke English

* Good telephone manner

* Calm disposition

* Communicative and attentive

* Able to take responsibility and work professionally
