Job Description
We’re hiring for an Account Manager to join an independent insurance firm based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside. You’ll be responsible for building up and servicing a bank of new clients as well as potentially taking over existing accounts.
What’s on offer?
* £30,000 – 35,000 per annum + commission
* Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
* 25 holidays + bank holidays

What will you be doing as an Account Manager?
* Working and generating leads independently
* Securing new business from a database
* Attending client visits and making initial contact
* Completing identification of needs with prospective clients
* Negotiating and presenting to insurers in order to secure most appropriate cover
* Presenting of recommendations and cover to the client
* Closing the sale and ensuring cover is on risk
* Ensuring all business activity fully complies with FCA regulations
* Developing and maintaining a professional working relationship with all clients and ensure expert advice in all areas of business
What do you need?
* 5+ years' experience handling most aspects of Commercial Insurance
* Insurance Broking background of 5+ Years
* An excellent knowledge of the UK general Insurance market
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with new clients and maintain those relationships
* A full UK driving licence
