Job Description
My Stamford based client is now looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant. This is a great opportunity for someone to work in practice and have the support of the business to further their career. This is a permanent full time position offering a salary of between £20,000 – £25,000 depending on the level of your qualification

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for a portfolio of client of various size and in various industry sectors

* Bookkeeping and compliance to Trial Balance

* VAT returns

* Payroll reconciliation

* First stage accounts prep for Limited Companies

* Personal Tax Returns

* Management Accounts reporting

Key Skills:

* Studying towards AAT with intention to continue to ACCA / CIMA

* Strong communicator both written and verbal

* Good IT and digital skills, particularly with cloud based accounting software

* Experience of bookkeeping and financial controls

* Team player

* Ability to multitask

* Deadline driven
