Job Description
Trainee Accountant is required to join a chartered accountancy practice based in the tightknit Kidderminster office. The Accounts Assistant will be tasked with preparing year-end accounts for a plethora of clients located locally and nationally whilst offering a great service to existing clients when assisting with enquiries. The ideal Trainee Accountant will have a few years of practice experience and will be offered a good deal of support when it comes to development in your career taking on new areas of work and with your studies.

Trainee Accountant Position Overview

Preparation of Final Accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders

Preparing Management Accounts, VAT returns including Bookkeeping

Compiling Corporate and Personal Tax Returns

Assisting Management and Directors with Ad-hoc Projects

Assisting clients with general queries

Trainee Accountant Position Requirements

A minimum of two years working within a practice

A good working knowledge of accountancy software's

AAT qualification useful but not essential

Within a commutable distance to Kidderminster

Trainee Accountant Position Remuneration

£18,000 – £24,000 per annum

Monday to Friday 9:00am – 17:00pm
