Trainee Accountant Job in Chelmsford, Essex

Job Description
Our client is seeking a professional and motivated individual to join their friendly and welcoming team as a Trainee Accountant.

It is essential that candidates have at least 2 years of experience, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications although not essential are desired.

Salary – 25 – 27k depending on experience.

This is not a hybrid role.

21 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Hours of work are Monday – Friday 35 hours per week.

Daily duties

Issuing payment invoices and receipts to clients.
Assisting senior accountants with client bookkeeping.
Preparing management accounts.
Preparing and submitting periodic financial reports to management.
Performing account reconciliations.
Processing income statements, balance sheets and other management account reports, under the supervision of the Senior Accountant.
Prepare budget forecasts.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Assisting in the Auditing financial transactions and documents.
Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Assisting with other accounting tasks, as assigned by a supervisor.Please bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
