Job Description
We are excited to be working with a reputable organisation located in South Leeds, who are eager for an experienced Settlements Manager to join their growing team.

Initially, the role is to last 12 months on a temporary basis, with a potential to go permanent down the line if a good match.

The Settlements Manager reports directly to the Head of Finance, and is responsible for the direct management of 5 members of staff.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage your team and assist where required
* Processing all settlements
* Ensure all payments are processed in line with the correct controls
* Ensure that all banking, risk and controls administration is completed accordingly
* Ad hoc tasks when required to support the Head of Finance
* Address any issues or queries accordingly, liaising with the finance team

The successful candidate will look like:

* Be able to demonstrate experience in risk and processing settlements
* Have a strong understanding of accounting principles
* Management or mentoring experience
* Exceptional communication skills when communicating with internal and external contacts.
