Job Description
IN2 Consult – Senior Accounts Payable – Abingdon – Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days working remotely) – £27,000 to £31,000 per annum – Study support – End to end Accounts Payable, processing high volumes of invoices, covering for the manager when off work.

IN2 Consult are currently supporting a market leading organisation that offers training and education opportunities to help transform and change peoples lives. This business is currently looking for a Senior Accounts Payable specialist to join them on a permanent basis. This role will offer a salary of between £27,000 to £31,000 base salary and a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely. This role will be reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager and will support to cover their manager's workload when she is off work.

Key experience required for this Senior Accounts Payable role is as follows:

Minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable experience – REQUIRED
Experience in SAP or Oracle – HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS
Multisite experience – DESIRABLE 
Experience as a Senior or Supervisor – HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS

Key duties involved in this Senior Accounts Payable role are as follows:

Provide cover for the manager whilst she is off work
Provide training and mentorship to junior members of the team
Manage accounting for Credit Cards within UPE including control the process for issuing new cards, helping to drive timely acquittal, approval of credit card expenses and dealing with credit card disputes.
Month end process – (bank accounts, trade creditors including GRNI, commissions, prepayments, credit cards and intercompany trade)
Ensure accuracy of VAT treatment through auditing of AP transactions and month-end reconciliations
Deliver an excellent service experience to our suppliers and agents by ensuring all queries are resolved in timely manner. Assisting in the resolution of more difficult queries.
