SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE CAMBRIDGE, CAMBRIDGESHIRE- JOB REF: JO31299

Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a very well-established Accountancy Practice based in Cambridge, providing excellent services to a wide range of clients across the region. This exciting new position has emerged due to a period of continued expansion within the department.

The successful candidate for this role would be someone that is either ACCA or ACA qualified, however candidates deemed qualified by experience will definitely be considered. A minimum of 4 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Previous experience in preparing accounts and tax returns for a variety of companies is essential.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

* Preparation of complex accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.

* Corporate and personal tax returns.

* Assisting with the development of trainees, including reviewing work and offering feedback.

* Regularly liaising with clients on support services and to resolve queries.

* Adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.

Candidates Attributes:

* Minimum of 4 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment.

* ACCA or ACA qualified OR QBE.

* Strong experience of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks is necessary.

* Excellent communication skills and confident in dealing directly with a wide range of clients.
