My client is a well-established accountancy practice looking for a semi-senior accountant to join their team.
You will work alongside the wider accounts team providing full accountancy services to sole traders and SME businesses. You will ideally be looking to pursue the Senior Accountant role in the future.
About the Job
* Carry out account preparation for larger companies within the firm’s portfolio of Clients – including some corporation tax computations, where assistance will be given as necessary.
* Work on audit assignments, as part of a team, both in the firm’s offices and at client premises.
* Be involved in the team working on special corporate assignments, such as grant claims, forecasting, interim FD roles and IFRS advice.
Experience required for Semi – Senior Accountant
* Keen to play an active role in a dynamic team and take responsibility for managing both the team and clients.
* Looking for fresh challenges and development including participating in internal change Projects.
* Great at communicating with people at all levels – face to face and in writing.
* Positive attitude and good at using your initiative.
* Organised and good at working under pressure.
* Looking to start or continue studying for the ACA or ACCA qualification.
* Experience in online packages including, but not limited to Microsoft Packages.
Accounting candidates with a large expanse of experience will be considered, with adjustments to the job based on experience.
