Role: Risk Partner – 12 Month FTC
Location: Bracknell
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum

The Role:
In this challenging role as the Risk Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring the European group of companies has an efficient and effective insurance programme, operating to an acceptable industry standard. You will lead the day to day running of the insurance programme along the management of the loss prevention activities with our companies and insurers.
On a daily basis you will also have the responsibility to manage the operation of risk management support across the regional functions and ensure that our status is reported to multiple stakeholders.
Monitor and drive the completion of any emerging remediation from Loss Prevention visits throughout the year with each business
Complete the annual insurance renewal programme with all stakeholders
Undertake visits across locations in Europe to support the loss prevention programme
Manage the day-to-day insurance queries and requests from both the business and Broker
Lead regular meetings and manage the Information Security Management programme effectively for the UK Branch
Provide support for day-to-day ISM queries as well as monitoring and driving any remediation arising from audits or other direction
Manage the collation and reporting of data from each unit for Risk Management
The ideal candidate:
Effective project management skills including the ability to evaluate, judge and decide on alternative options
Familiarity of in-house insurance programmes would be beneficial
Experience of information security and risk management concepts is advantageous
Proactive approach, the ability to manage your own workload and taking ownership
Proven leadership qualities to build credibility at the highest levels of organisation
Cultural awareness to operate and thrive in a complex structure
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to cooperate effectively with stakeholders and influence decisions at all levels
Strong analytical, logic and problem-solving skills
Capability to manage and deal with multiple deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure
Demonstrate a way to constructively challenge, facilitate and probe to fully understand the regional and business unit needs
A proactive approach, with a process improvement mindset
