Job Description
I am currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to work for a family-owned manufacturing company in South Bristol
You will receive a salary of up to £25,000
Free Parking so no worries where to park each day !
Hours of work are Monday – Friday 830am – 5pm
As the Purchase Ledger you will be responsible for the purchase order processing which entails: Controlling of POs entered by colleagues, processing inventory receipts, processing supplier bills, releasing bills for payment, allocating payments, and applying landed cost procedures. Along with this, you will need to handle and resolve discrepancies both internally and externally with suppliers. We import a lot of our products so there is also a need for the handling of customs procedures and paperwork in conjunction with shippers and agents. Excellent IT skills and great attention to detail. You will be able to prioritise, problem solve, and take responsibility for your own work.
Main Duties
o Full purchase order processing
o Investigating purchase ledger queries
o Maintaining and updating financial records
o Resolving accounting queries both internally and externally
o Maintaining the accuracy of supplier details
o Reconciling delivery notes with invoices and orders
o Follow up on open Purchase Orders
o Checking and chasing supplier invoices and credits
o Set up suppliers as and when required
o Managing records and amending where necessary (missing/incorrect information)
o Check customs paperwork and duty codes (for new products)

o Knowledge of accounting software (ideally NetSuite)
