What: Purchase Ledger, up to £27K

Where: Leeds City Centre

When: Monday to Friday

You: Experienced in high volume purchase ledger

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for a busy and growing role in the city centre? Do you enjoy working in a lively, corporate office? Are you thorough, organised and enjoy supporting the wider team when needed?

What are they looking for?

We are looking for a detail-orientated individual to work within the Accounts team for a successful, national business in Leeds City Centre. You will continuously reassess your daily priorities to ensure that all systems and procedures are up to date whilst liaising at all levels within the business to communicate updates throughout the process.

Your experience in high volume Purchase Ledger will mean that you hit the ground running whilst your eagerness to learn means you'll be able to train to take on the other duties associated with this position.

What can I say I'll be doing?

You will open and close bank accounts, process all payments in a variety of forms along with VAT and Corporate Tax returns
You will be processing daily banking, reconciliations and dividend runs
You will be reconciling client accounts and answering any queries they may have
You will be utilising your attention to detail as you update the system at each stage ensuring all information is correct
You will be using your excellent communication skills to liaise with the wider team about the progress of each case along with speaking with banks and HMRC
As you're such a team player, you'll also be assisting the wider team when needed

You will have evident high volume Purchase Ledger experience
You will be able to commit to being office based
You will be able to balance a busy workload
