This is a newly created role for a production manager to help with planning and scheduling of work for the creative teams. The creative and media team functions as an in-house agency delivering assets from briefs from other parts of the marketing team and from within the business. The role is responsible for managing all incoming requests, maintaining the backlog, running sprint planning meetings with key stakeholders and ensuring a smooth delivery of creative assets for use in marketing campaigns.
Key responsibilities:
Be first point of contact for anyone submitting requests from the creative teams.
Work with other parts of the marketing team and wider business to understand the brief and break those down into tasks and add to the backlog.
Manage the backlog of requests across all parts of the creative and media team including content, design, events, digital and email marketing.
Set up regular sprint planning meetings with key stakeholders to agree priorities and schedule work for production.
Track the progress of jobs working through the team, ensuring smooth handover of tasks between different functions.
Ensure assets created are reviewed and approved by relevant legal and compliance teams.
Report on sprint progress and continually review and refine processes
Key skills and experience:
Excellent knowledge of the MS suite of applications Excel, PPT, Word
Knowledge of power automate highly desirable
Knowledge of Trello or other similar systems required
Ability to interrogate a brief and challenge where required
Strong project management skills
Professional qualifications and education
Some form of project management qualification (desired but not essential)
5 years of broader industry work experience
Minimum 3 years of proven relevant experience e.g. project management, scrum, agile
Key competencies:
Exceptional organisational skills and a positive can-do attitude
Creative, but also analytical and task drive
Good working knowledge of industry tools e.g. Trello, Full suite of MS applications , Jira etc. ·
