Job Description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Scotland, is currently looking to recruit a Payroll Adviser for an initial 6 month contract on a salary of £33,094-£38,552 per annum. This role can be made permanent, initially contract due to a requirement for a quick start. Due to the current circumstances this role will be a hybrid of working at home and the office with regular travel to Glasgow.

Responsibilities:

-Will involve liaising with HR and Finance colleagues, internal and external auditors, pension scheme, agents and resolving individual payroll queries. 

-Conducting audits and reconciliations between Payroll, HR, and Finance systems. 

-Provide technical support to the Payroll Business Partner.

Essential Skills:

-You will be experienced in the application of PAYE, NIC, pension and other statutory deductions. 

-You will have good numeracy, analytical and communication skills. 

-You will also be approachable, collaborative, and structured in your approach as you form a strong working relationship with key stakeholders, including staff, HR and Finance teams, and shared-service customers.
