Job Description
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting a Payroll Admin Manager for a forward-thinking business based in Doncaster.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable, capable, and confident Payroller who is looking for a role where they will be given responsibility and autonomy from day one whilst also being part of a friendly and supportive team-environment. You will have full ownership for all aspects of payroll management including processing, queries, reporting and calculations.

Some duties of the Payroll Admin Manager role will include:

– Lead all day-to-day Payroll & HR Administration activity involving all aspects associated with payroll, time and attendance, rewards, benefits along with supporting on recruitment and employee contracts and leavers
– Responsible for end-to-end payroll process, calculating payments, overtime and holiday pay
– Ensure all Line Managers authorise timesheets & any payroll exceptions
– Check & process accurate payroll data, coaching Line Managers where necessary
– Provide payslips
– Submit correct data to HMRC on time, assist with any audit assistance
– Send pensions data on time, meet auto enrolment obligations
– Hiring and training new Payroll & HR Admin team members
– Analysing and reporting on payroll data
– Auditing the payroll to make sure it satisfies all government regulations
– Documenting, developing and refining payroll procedures
– Keep all HR & Payroll databases & processes aligned & up to date
– Process Tax Code changes, AOEs, P45's, P60s & P11d's on time
– Report nominal links to the Finance Team
– Instructing reports for finance to process bank transfers for employee payments in line with our pay frequencies and cut off dates/times
– Provide comprehensive reports for HR Director as requested
– Drive thorough audit trails & good housekeeping within all aspects of Payroll & HR Admin
– Supervising the work of anyone in the team handling the payroll process at any time
– Advising payroll team members about taxes and employment laws on salary/wage and keeping informed in our relevant legislation updates

HR Administration & Support:

– Lead the team who provides first line support for all employee/manager HR enquiries sharing/escalating with rest of HR
– Ensuring team process all new starters including compliance checks and screening, contract, offer letter, new employee information pack and set up in all HR systems and IT
– To process all leavers and contract variations accordingly
– To ensure companywide holidays are managed effectively in line with policy
– To assist with any employee correspondence and communications as requested by HR Director
– To provide assistance with any people related projects or events
