Head of Finance
Hybrid/Gloucestershire/Other locations in England and Wales
c£65K + Bonus + Package

Exciting role to be part of the leadership team shaping the strategy to support growth within a well-respected UK service business.

This role takes ownership for the finance function and leads a small team.

You might be a Senior Finance Manager looking to progress your career or working at a similar level.

Key Responsibilities:

* Financial lead advising on all aspects of finance and tax

* Producing accurate monthly management accounts, financial reports and analysis

* Reviewing debtor and supplier ledgers to ensure cash flow is maximised

* Managing the finance team

* Preparing statutory year end accounts and liaising with external advisors

* Business performance management, including: reporting, evaluating, P&L forecasting

* Work as part of the senior management team, contributing to the development of the company’s strategy, planning and delivery

* Overseeing payroll processing, employer HMRC compliance and employee pension matters

Key Skills:

* ACA or ACCA qualified

* Chartered status

* Experience in a business with a turnover of c£10 million to c£20 million.

* Confident user of financial software packages

* Broad tax experience

* Ability to present financial data to senior level in a comprehensible manner

* Demonstrative positive leadership and people skills

* Commercial approach to the role

* Professional, conscientious and can do
