Job Description
Axon Moore are delighted to be retained on another fantastic opportunity, this time for a Group Financial Controller with a North West AIM listed business.
Working with an outstanding CFO, someone who, having recently joined the business, has a clear remit to build a high performing team and as such this is a key appointment. Number 2 within the finance function, this role will see the successful applicant take ownership of controls, reporting and cash for the Group. It will suit a driven and confident ACA qualified accountant who enjoys getting under the skin of a business and driving consistent improvements. To be considered for the role you will have a strong academic background and ideally have qualified in with a large audit firm background. You will be able to show experience of group reporting in a listed plc, ideally within a fast-growing AIM consumer business with multi-channel and international sales. You will have strong technical skills, excellent modelling skills whilst also having outstanding leadership and team building skills. 
Day to day the role will involved group management accounts production, presenting business results, insights and actions to CEO and Executive team and well as taking full financial control, undertaking annual statutory accounts and group reporting whilst also supporting the CFO in contributing to the strategy of the business  and projects such as acquisitions and new ventures
