Graduate Commercial Accountant
Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Up to £25,000 + Study Support
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate seeking a career in finance and accounting with the view of studying towards CIMA or ACCA.
We are seeking an outgoing and confident communicator who would thrive in a fast paced environment and has excellent analytical / Excel spreadsheet skills.

The role will support the Senior Financial Analyst and operations team providing information, analysis and insight which will enable improvement in the profitability of the business.
Key responsibilities
*Produce & review weekly KPI reports and identify any issues with trading
*Contribute to the periodic forecasting and annual budgeting process
*Produce weekly cost reports and identification of best practice with a view to providing the best balance of customer service and profitability
*Analysis of margins, identifying issues and investigating
*Ensuring good financial control is maintained across operations
*Provide monthly input to board reports on financial performance
*Act as a finance business partner to operational managers and directors providing financial analysis and insight
What we are looking for:
*Recent graduate within an accounting, business or numerical subject
*Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
*Excellent Excel skills to deal with large volumes of data from multiple systems
*You will have a confident and outgoing personality, excellent communication and influencing skills to work with operations and finance teams
*Proven ability to juggle multiple projects/trials simultaneously, prioritising effectively and meet deadlines
*You will either have started studying CIMA/ACCA with a view to becoming a qualified accountant or have the ambition to do so
