German Accountant Job in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Job Description
A large business in Hemel Hempstead are looking for a German speaking Accountant that is looking for a chance to grow and develop going forward. The role is to report into the Country Controller that looks after the German entities and this will provide support on fixed assets, reconciliations and monthly reporting. The business needs someone that is able to speak German fluently.
The business offers?? a hybrid working pattern and are looking for someone that is looking for growth. There is excellent support from senior managers and offer a fantastic newly refurbished working environment.
Duties:
* Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparation and submission of journals together with journal backup for approval
* Maintenance of fixed assets register
* Provision of supplementary schedules as required for monthly/quarterly reporting.
* Ad hoc Operational & Finance requests
* Preparation & submission of internal & external audit tasks
* Preparation & submission of statutory/statistical reporting requirements
Person spec:
* Fluent German speaker
* Accounting experience to trial balance
* Ideally looking for ACCA or CIMA Studier or Qualified
* Good systems and Excel skills
