Job Description
Financial Controller Sheffield £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits

My client is a well-established business who has continued to grow and develop over the years. As a result of business growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced financial professional to lead their finance team and provide key management information to the business. This role would suit an experienced finance professional looking for a more commercial role and greater involvement in the wider aspects of a business, or an individual with a good background in finance perhaps from professional practice or industry. There are excellent prospects and potential in this role .

Key responsibilities include:

* Management of a busy finance department and overall responsibility for the presentation of monthly management accounts to the board
* Quarterly budgeting and forecasting and liaison with the commercial managers on this
* Liaison with the company auditors as well as the banks
* Any ad hoc commercial finance work as and when the need arises

The Person

* You will have a track record of working in finance and ideally have a professional accounting qualification ACA / ACCA or CGMA
* You will either already be in a senior finance role and looking for that next step or potentially looking for your first financial controller's role with significant accounting experience.
* You will be an excellent communicator and have had some experience of managing teams of people.
* You will be ambitious and motivated and looking for a role where you can really ad value and working a part of a senior management team
