Job Description
HYBRID/BONUS – FC ROLE – Leisure, Property and Hospitality – a diverse business with turnover around £20m. This excellent employer, in Central London, a well-funded successful group, is seeking a high calibre Financial Controller for an excellent role, working closely with the Managing Director and Operational Managers.

Reporting to the Group FD and the MD, the new Financial Controller will take full responsibility for the financial reporting within the business and will include:

Manage a finance team of 3 staff, ensure smooth running of the finance function
Produce monthly management accounts, P&L,cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
Produce budgets and operational reports for each business (KPI's/sales data etc)
Accounting for all revenue, monthly reconciliation of rental income to tenancy schedules.
Ownership of balance sheet accounts including inter-company reconciliations
Accounting for deferred revenues, prepayments, payroll and accruals
Assisting with payroll, overseeing the external payroll contracts
Preparation of service charge accounts and invoicing to clients
Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
Preparing year end audit files for the statutory auditor and dealing with queries
Assisting with payment runs and preparation of bank compliance reports
Review of subsidiary accounts, budgets and reporting
Assisting the FD with ad hoc projects This is an exciting Financial Controller role with excellent prospects for an experienced accountant (QBE, PQ or Qualified). A strong personality is key as you will be expected to visit the operations, working closely with the Operational Managers.

Hybrid role (3 days in Central London office)
Salary to £70,000 + discretionary bonus + 25 days
