Job Description
Walters People: Finance Team Leader – Solihull – £35,000 – £40,000 + Study Support – Permanent

I'm currently working alongside a leading company in Solihull in their recruitment of a Finance Team Leader on a permanent basis. You will be assisting the Financial Controller with supporting the transactional/wider finance team and helping with additional tasks that may arise.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Team Leader:
* Assisting with the production of management accounts
* Periodic reporting – Monthly/Weekly
* Assisting with the cashflow management
* Supporting the transactional team and being the first point of contact
* Credit control assistance as a contact point, sending statements, dealing with any escalated queries
* Check FX rates and processing any foreign currency transactions
* Assisting with sales ledger and purchase ledger tasks
* To produce company VAT Returns
* Ad Hoc transactional finance

About you as the Finance Team Leader:
* 1-2 years' experience in a transactional team leader role
* Good communication skills by phone, email, and face to face
* Completed AAT or early level CIMA/ACCA is desirable
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
* Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, Office and experience of would be helpful
