Job Description
Finance Officer • Shottery • £24,578-£28,462 FTE  • 6 months FTC • Hybrid

We are working on behalf of a charity based in Shottery seeing a Finance Officer for a 6-month fixed term contract.

As a Finance Officer, your primary responsibilities will be to:

Processing purchase orders and invoices

Processing monthly payroll for approximately 65 staff using SAGE payroll

Use of Sage Line 50 Recording and entering all transactions on SAGEline50

Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Control accounts and trading accounts

Assisting with month-end procedures and management accounts

To be considered for our Finance Officer role

Previous experience in a similar role

To be available a short notice

A good understanding of double-entry accounting

Experience in using accounting and payroll software

To be able to commit to a 6-month contract.

What’s on Offer? As a Finance Officer, you will be entitled to:

Salary of £24,578-£28,462 (full time equivalent)

Flexible hours between 25-37 – can be discussed

Working for an established charity 

A 6-month contract

After 2 weeks of training and handover, you can choose to work hybrid.

Holiday entitlement of 27 days plus bank holidays
