Finance Manager (JV) Job in Warwick
Job Description
In the UK, National Grid doesn’t generate or sell energy – we join the dots to get energy from A to B. From making a cup of tea in the morning, to keeping the lights on in hospitals, our electricity network puts power in the hands of people. Without it, the world as we know it would grind to a halt.
We're investing in the network to help connect more low carbon electricity, such as wind and solar, transporting it through our power lines and substations. Ours is a crucial role and pivotal in turning the UK’s net zero ambitions into reality.
Working at National Grid, you’ll be shaping the way we use and consume energy for generations to come.
An unmissable opportunity for a lead Finance Manager within our New Infrastructure project team, taking a senior finance role in a large new Joint Venture (JV) worth over £2billion.
You will support and challenge the strategic and financial priorities, critical to delivering accurate financial performance in the creation of the JV, and readiness to support construction activities.
We are seeking a strong accountant with excellent business partnering, analysis and stakeholder management skills, who can set up processes, team structure and controls, as well as building critical key relationships within the JV to ensure success.
* Salary up to £65,000
* Double-match pension (12% company contribution = 18% in total)
* Bonus and annual salary review
* Warwick based (hybrid – c2 days in the office, rest from home, with 2-3 days paid travel to Glasgow per month)
