Job Description
Juice Personnel are representing one of our amazing clients, they are looking for an experienced Finance Manager.

Our client is a leading installer of conservatories, orangeries, double glazing windows and doors throughout Yorkshire.

They are looking for a self-motivated and ambitious accountant with a high attention to detail to work alongside the Board to manage the day-to-day finance processes; ensuring that timely and accurate information is available.

This Finance Manager role is a largely stand-alone, reporting direct to the MD, but with support from a sister company for advice, assistance, and monthly reporting.

* Monday to Friday: 40 hours per week

* Salary: £30k to £38k DOE

* Location: Wakefield

About the Role

* Daily bank reconciliations

* Purchase ledger and sales ledger

* Weekly CIS

* Monthly payroll

* PAYE / VAT

* Job costings

* Preparation of KPIs

* Cash flow management

* Assistance in the preparation of monthly MI and associated analysis

* Ad hoc projects and duties as required

* Full management of the day-to-day transactional accounting – including

About you

* Professional qualification desired, but at least AAT qualified

* At least 5 years’ experience in a finance role is required and at least 2 years at a similar level

* Experience of Sage line 50 and Sage payroll is desired

* Previous knowledge of CIS would be advantageous

* Experience of using AdminBase, or similar job-costing software is desirable

* Knowledge of the home improvement industry / construction would be advantageous

* A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages with previous experience of working on excel and the ability to type accurately with good attention to detail

* The ability to demonstrate effective time management and prioritise tasks

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders

* A proactive approach to work with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload

* A highly motivated individual with a can-do approach to work and the ability to get the job done in the required timescale
