Job Description
The successful candidate is likely to have considerable commercial experience in the SME sector preferably in construction.
Whilst technical financial and accounting skills must be a given, a broader interest in and understanding of the business, how it works and the challenges it faces are also essential.
Primary Responsibilities
* Managing and developing the accounting aspects of the company.
* Participating in the overall business management, to push through growth and long-term profitability.
* Financial management and reporting.
* Overseeing all of SPVs,
* Responsible for Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Cash Flow, System Implementation
* Management of the accounting information ensuring accurate and timely preparation of information.
* Provide sound commercial and financial advice/support. This will include liaising on quotations for new business and supporting contract negotiations.
* Cost analysis to support cost reductions.
* Liaise with suppliers where needed
Accountabilities
* Help set strategies and direction.
* Assist with management professional relationships.
* Oversee administration
* Continually drive for efficiencies, improving systems, procedures, and reporting
