Finance Manager

Location – Manchester city centre (hybrid)

Simpson Judge are working with a well-established hospitality business based in Manchester city centre, who have an opportunity for a Finance Manager, in a varied commercial role.

Responsibilities include:
* To ensure that all finance procedures and processes are consistent within all operational areas of the business, with the production of accurate and timely daily, weekly & monthly accounts.
* To report on inconsistency found by performing internal audits and to assist the business in achieving company standard by mentoring and developing Heads of Departments in all financial aspects that will benefit the business.
* To challenge information given in the monthly forecast submitted by the GM and to ensure the business take the necessary action to implement recommendations from this review.
* To prepare and present, daily, weekly and monthly financial stats as requested by GM/ directors.
* To prepare and review the annual budget and make recommendations for improving returns and reducing costs. To support the business in achieving its financial objectives.
* To challenge the monthly forecast and highlight future business risk / opportunities and to update the weekly forecast on behalf of the property during the month.
* To review and assist in the preparation of the annual budget with the Management team, challenging the information given and to make any recommendations as required.

Skills/Qualifications:
* CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant (finalists, etc, also considered)
* Previous management accounts experience
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
