Job Description
Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier to multiple industries in the UK and Western Europe. Due to their continued growth and development, they are seeking to employ a Finance Manager for their Roydon, Kings Lynn site
Hours will be:
8.30 – 5pm Monday to Thursday
8.30 – 2.30pm Friday
45 Minutes lunch break

Requirements for the role:
The ideal candidate must be a Qualified Accountant to CIMA Level and should have at least 6-10 years practical experience. Wide and deep experience of providing expert competence.
Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
Purpose of the role:
To provide effective and efficient financial advice, direction and support to the company’s Leadership team. To ensure the company meets all UK statutory and legal accounting and tax requirements. To ensure timely and efficient financial budgeting, reporting and analysis for company’s PU management consolidation and for the company’s financial consolidation. Leadership and accountability of site support functions to deliver efficient services to internal and external customers inc, HR, Purchasing, Customer Service, Administration.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
Financial Policies, Guidelines, and Protocols
Payroll, Finance & Month end process, purchasing functions
Create a plan to deliver and review financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
Financial Management and Control
Develop and/or deliver a plan for significant aspects of the financial management and/or control process.
Financial Modelling
Translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs, and schedules to support growth in the business.
Data Collection and Analysis
Use data from a wide range of sources to analyse key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.
Financial Information Systems
Plan and deliver financial systems changes to meet project timelines including quality and budget requirements. Engage with finance users to identify requirements and work with the team to design solutions.
Functional Strategy Formation
Contribute to the formation of a key element of functional strategy through specialist expertise and insights, to ensure that the strategy meets business needs.
Information and Business Advice
Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
Leadership and Direction
Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
Performance Management
Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives.
Budgeting
Deliver a budget for an area of the organization or conduct complex analyses on budget progress in other areas of the organization.
Interprets and applies key financial indicators to make better business decisions. For example, fosters accountability for making good financial decisions; provides guidance to help the team make astute decisions. Summarizes financial performance data and explains implications for the organization
