Job Description
Debt Recovery Officer – Private Payers
37.5 hours per week – FTC 6 months
Bristol, Emersons Green / Hybrid working
 
We are recruiting for a Debt Recovery Officer to work on a 6 month fixed term contract. You will be joining a large charity that has been running for over 60 years supporting over 2,500 people.
 
Due to the nature of the role, our client would ideally like someone with proven credit controller experience.
 
Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for setting actions to identify,, recover and preparing debt write offs. 
 
This role will suit someone that has excellent attention to detail and can demonstrate initiative.
 
As a Debt Recovery Officer, you will provide comprehensive updates to the Area and Sales Ledger Manager.  
 
The main aspects of this role will be:

Contact payers to understand and resolve debt balances
Submit refund and write off requests
Report progress on debt recovery
Maintain the credit control commentary function on the finance system
