Job Description
Axon Moore are recruiting on behalf of a business based in Poynton, Stockport to appoint a temporary Credit Controller. This role will run for around 3 months and will support another credit controller in the business, to ensure incoming cash is allocated and aged debt is chased and managed as closely as possible.

Responsibilities include:

Timely collection of outstanding debt from customers by phone and email
Posting and allocating of cash, debit notes and discounts on the ledger and ensuring accounts are reconciled correctly
Reconciling accounts
Assisting with month end procedures
General ad-hoc duties to assist the AR team and the wider finance team
Experience & Skill Requirements:

Experience in a an Accounting role with some experience in Credit Control role ideally
Competent user of Excel and accounting systems
Excellent communication skills
Adaptable and solid team player
Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines
Demonstrate accuracy and pay attention to detail
