Job Description
I am recruiting an Credit Controller (Accounts Receivable) to join a well-established firm of solicitors.
 
This is a permanent, full time, office based vacancy located in Walsall.
 
As a Credit Controller you will be part of the accounts team and you will be responsible for collecting customer payments. Ideally you will be experienced in collecting aged debt through to small claims court and on to enforcement if required.
 
Training, salary and benefits

Competitive salary depending on experience
12 months experience within a credit control position is required, other general accounts experience is desireable
Full systems and process training will be given, knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint are desirable.
Standard hours are 9-5:00 Monday to Friday with a 1 hour lunch break, 
About the role; Your duties will include:

Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in aged debt
Sending out reminders for all unpaid invoices by email, letter and telephone calls
Interact with teams to ensure the timely resolution of queries
Issuing Court proceedings for unpaid debts and enforcing the same
Preparing breakdowns and statements of account
Recording receipts and payments
Processing purchase ledger invoices

About You:
 
The successful candidate would be a confident communicator and will have at least 12 months experience gained within credit control or accounts receivable.
