Role: Credit Analyst (Energy / Utilities)
Location: Homebased / Leeds
Salary: up to £32k DOE
Summary:
Are you highly numerate with strong problem solving and analytical skills? Our client, an award-winning retail energy supplier, is looking for a Credit Analyst to join their Energy Supply division. You will be required to process credit applications, manage a portfolio of credit accounts, and provide ad-hoc analysis and projects within the Finance & Risk teams. Key responsibilities:
Processing credit applications using a custom credit scorecard (Experian Business IQ)
Liaising with our external credit insurer – Managing a portfolio
Communicating with the Energy Supply Sales department
Contributing to management packs for the Credit/Sales Meeting & LRMC
The role will also support on ad-hoc analysis and projects within the Finance & Risk teamsSkills and experience required:
Educated to degree level (Maths, Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance or Management)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VBA
Approachable with the ability to provide excellent customer service
Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to report complex financial analysis to a wide-ranging audience
Good attention to detail & highly numerate with good verbal reasoning skills
Ability to query SQL Server & Oracle databases using SQL – desirable
Experience of using Power Query within Excel/Power BI – desirable
Experience of using Python (Jupyter notebooks) – desirable
