Job Description
A successful technology company are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their head office finance team based in the Almondsbury area of Bristol. This is a full time, permanent position, for an experienced Management Accountant who wishes to work closely with the Finance Director and assist with overseeing the end -end finance function. Sage 50 experience is essential.

Accountant Bristol Position Overview

To control and oversee all aspects of the administration and finance functions and to continually strive to improve the professionalism of both the department and the company.

Management Accounts – quarterly preparation using Sage 50 Accounts
Assistance with year-end statutory accounts
Preparation of a weekly P&L and cash-flow forecasts.
Sales Ledger – daily preparation, processing and despatching of invoices
Credit control
Monthly bank reconciliation
Administrative processing of sales orders including reporting requirements;
Processing and analysis of bi-monthly employee expense claims;
Review of purchase ledger function – including authorisation of invoices, issue of bi-monthly payments and reconciliation of purchase ledger;
Payroll – preparation of monthly payroll including commission and overtime statements. Posting of monthly salary journals.
Completion of HMRC documentation. Issue of monthly pension returns and payments to the pension provider. Annual completion of P11D's;

Accountant Bristol Position Requirements

ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified, part qualified or finalist
Strong management accounts experience
Longstanding tenure in current and previous roles
Ambitious and keen to work with a 7ml turnover company
sage accounts experience is essential
Happy to assist where necessary in a hands on business
Prior experience in the technology sector would be an advantage

Accountant Bristol Position Remuneration

£35,000 – £45,000 dependant on experience
