An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Finance Manager. We would love to hear from you if you have previous experience within a similar role. This will be on a 6 – 9 Month contract basis.

Role Profile:

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, this role will be responsible to identify and target specific problem areas of the Transport division to strengthen our position to ensure we deliver the target EBITDA. You will be working with the bidding and business development team when pricing new bids and ensuring we are deriving correct rates as well as being competitive in our win strategy to deliver a winning bid.

Typical Deliverables:

You will provide financial support to the bid team and assisting with all financial obligations when submitting our prices.
Interrogation of our fixed and variable local and central overheads to help drive better EBITDA performance.
Identifying wastage and working with business heads to find alternative strategy to drive cost saves.
Cost benefit analysis of new business cases.
Analysing investment proposals on make or buy decisions.
Implement and streamline processes to deliver a more efficient and lean financial reporting process.

Business Operations Skills – Experience:

Experience of Microsoft Office 365 products especially MS Excel.
Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
A high attention to detail and ability to achieve high levels of data accuracy.

Business Operations Skills – Qualifications:

ACMA/ACCA.
