Job Description
We've got a great opportunity for a Commercial Data Analyst to work for a Global Marketing Services specialist in the North Yorkshire area, although remote working part of the week is open to all candidates. This is a brand new position supporting their internal data and procurement projects.

The experience we need.

Excellent analytical skills and interpretation/understanding of data and reporting. A relevant analytical degree (or equivalent), or relevant experience is required
Logical and tenacious approach 
Confident IT skills and Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivots, data manipulation) is highly beneficial
A focussed individual with a high degree of accuracy
The ability to work independently while working through data, but also confident in working closely with various teams in the business  
Excellent time management and prioritization skills 
The role.

To assist the Commercial Analyst and work with client services teams to analyse their existing spend and product specification profiles
To assist the Commercial Analyst in sending data out to quote/tender with supply chain and analysing responses  
Analysis of data sets of print products (trend, product specifications, order patterns, etc) 
To work closely with the Strategic Sourcing team to develop and build product price ratecards

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate should ideally be based within reach of Wakefield, but there is scope for remote working 3 days a week to offer a work/home balance.
