Job Description
Commercial Analyst
Location – Burnley
Salary – up to £45,000
Simpson Judge are working with a global organisation based in Burnley, who have an opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Analyst.
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will work with key stakeholders, carry out a variety of commercial analyses, prepare monthly cost analysis reports, quarterly reforecasts and provide insight on key cost areas, alongside other areas.
This role also offers hybrid working.
Responsibilities
* Production of forecast presentations and conducting quarterly meetings with Directors
* Production of monthly cost packs for budget holders
* Assisting with monthly flash forecasts
* Management of salaries & headcount file
* Salary changes and pay rise reporting
* KPI reporting
* Analysis on core business fundamentals
* Resolving variances between system reports (Insights, SQL)
* Assisting in management accounts accrual processes including intercompany transfer pricing
* Assessing and evaluating systems and processes and making recommendations for improvements and efficiencies
Requirements:
* ACCA/CIMA Qualified (Part Qualified/Finalist also considered)
* Experience in a similar role
* Strong organisation, communication and presentational skills
* Strong Excel skills
* Knowledge on creating Macro's, SQL, power BI, SAP/SAC would be highly advantageous
* Previous management accounting experience is desirable
