Job Description
Working within an exciting and growing Lloyds Broker who are looking to bring on a specialist Claims Technician.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fast-growing company in an international department whereby you would be heading things up and all development opportunities will naturally be yours to inherit as the department grows.

The Position:

* Due to an increase in workload and a new acquisition we are looking for individuals to head up this exciting division and lead the claims from the department.

* You will work within the claims department but be autonomous in your specialist area, partnering with stakeholders and taking ownership of claims in this area.

* This is an international book of business involving both direct and reinsurance business, across with US, Canadian and European clients, mainly property focused but with some general liability, professional indemnity, and D&O. You will work closely with insurers and TPAs who hold the delegated authority to settle the claims.

Skills:

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of bordereau and processing, ECF all classes, London market electronic settlement system

Ideally a mixture of European and US claims experience however good claims backgrounds without American and European experience will be considered

Areas of experience: Claims Broker, Claims Handler, Property Insurance, US Insurance, European Insurance, Claims Advocate, Claims Consultant, Claims Executive
