Summary

My high-profile banking client is looking for a business analyst to join their team based in Edinburgh on a hybrid basis (1 -2 a month on site) on an initial 6-month contract with chance of extensions.

As a business analyst you will help us to expand our Business Analysis capability within the Verona programme, across the Insurance & Wealth Major Programmes team within Group Chief Operating Office at the Banks Group, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to help support the final stages of delivery.

What are we looking for?

* An experienced BA with an excellent track record in a delivery focused role. Someone who is a dynamic and adaptable self-starter, who has documented experience in the core business analysis skills:
* Requirements Elicitation and Management
* Scope Definition and Management
* Problem solving, root cause analysis and defect resolution
* Data Analysis
* Process Mapping and Management

* A great communicator, capable of delivering clear messages to a variety of stakeholders and teams providing clear understanding for colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
* Supporting both our Business and Engineering colleagues as well as the Product Owner/ Project Manager to ensure Labs and Teams make the right choices in the changes they execute, designing the right business solution with a focus on the items of value to the customer and the business.
* Someone who is adaptable, resourceful and comfortable with an ever-changing landscape with respect to deliverables, timescales and priorities. Someone who is keen to rise to the challenge.

What would be nice to have?
* Experience is the Pensions domain, and use of Pension administration platforms.
* Experience in Banking
* Experience in both Waterfall and Agile ways of working
