Job Description
Insurance Broker / Underwriter
Up to £30,000 DOE + OTE
We are looking for experienced Senior Brokers / Insurance Sales Consultants and also Broker / Underwriters for a leading commercial insurance company who have offices all over the UK and who are currently looking to add new people to their Edinburgh office.
Applicants must have previous experience in Insurance Sales Brokering or Underwriting and preferably within a business-to-business environment, with fleet / commercial vehicles insurance experience also desirable as this will be your main area of focus within the role.
These are predominantly telephone and email-based positions. The Senior Broker role is to provide quotations for new business, and as well as working from company supplied leads and data you would also be encouraged to research and source your own leads and target new potential commercial clients to add to your accounts list. This position has a basic salary of up to £30,000 DOE, with OTE approximately another £10,000.
Their Broker Underwriter position mainly deal with existing business customers in areas such as renewals and mid-term adjustments. This role has a basic salary of up to £25,000 DOE with additional earnings of approximately £3000-£4000 also achievable.
