Job Description
A well-established firm of accountants are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to their busy and expanding team in Bury.

YOU ROLE WILL INVOLVE…

• Support bookkeeping services.
• Entering clients’ accounts onto appropriate bookkeeping system.
• Purchase & Sales ledger processing.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Preparing Accounts to trial balance.
• Completing monthly VAT returns.
• Managing own portfolio of clients
• Visiting clients on site when required to assist with bookkeeping function.

ABOUT YOU…

• You have a minimum of 2 years practical experience.
• Xero and Sage 50 experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience of DEXT or similar products desirable.
• Fully competent on Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
• Use of own initiative.
• Good team player.
• Highly organised and ability to prioritise own workload.
• Effective attention to detail.
• A degree of flexibility in hours worked to allow for travel to/from clients as and when required.
