Job Description
RM Recruit are working in partnership with a fantastic organisation who are on the lookout for an Assistant Finance Business Partner for circa 12 months. This role will be primarily remote based with the requirement of visiting their offices in Sutton Coldfield 2-3 times a month.
This role is to support the Finance Business Partner in providing information, analysis, and insight to achieve their strategic and business objectives. With outgoing nature, and with excellent attention to detail, this post would see you operate in a busy, front-line role supporting both finance and operational stakeholders across the organisation. To run the monthly management accounts process and work alongside the other areas of the organisation, to aid critical thinking, purpose and vision.
The remit of the role will include, but not be limited to:
* Assist with the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts
* Support the Finance Business Partner with the delivery of all finance reporting ensuring full compliance with all relevant authorities
* Prepayments, journals & accruals
* Suggest improvements to systems and processes based on experience, staff and student feedback
* Liaise as directed with appropriate stakeholders
* Produce monthly management accounts and summary reports for budget holders
* Manage the forecasting process and cash management systems
* Produce reports for financial monitoring returns to external stakeholders
* Maintain the income matrix
* Business Partnering with other Teams to deliver effective growth and continuing success of the organisation
* Support the wider finance team with any duties/queries as assigned
As the ideal candidate, you will possess good experience in the third sector however, candidates from outside of the sector are also encouraged to apply.
