Job Description
Walters People: Accounts Receivable Clerk – Rubery – £25,000 – £28,000 – Office – Permanent

I'm currently working alongside a leading business in Rubery in their recruitment of an Accounts Receivable Clerk. The role is being recruited on a permanent basis paying a salary up to £28k dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk:
* You will maintain the AR ledger daily with posting of invoices and receipts and keep regular communication with Clients to provide timely sorting of queries to enable efficient Cash Management for the business
* Run appropriate credit search reports and set-up new AR accounts establishing appropriate Credit terms and payment plans
* Chasing outstanding & unpaid Invoices
* Assist/Raise credit notes, email invoices and credit notes to clients
* Raise and send monthly AR statements
* Allocate and post AR receipts
* Credit control function – Chasing, providing copy invoices and sorting queries
* Identify and highlight bad debt issues with line manager
* Reconcile all Intercompany AR accounts
* Complete month end procedure on AR (Monthly reconciliation)
* Act as a point of contact for Accounts Receivable issues

About you as the Accounts Receivable Clerk:
* Previous experience working in a similar role is essential
* Previous experience working in a multi-national & multi-currency company environment
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Proficient in the use of multiple IT software programmes
* Outstanding organisational and communication skills
