This role requires experience in Accounts Payable but not necessarily management experience and would positively advance most peoples resumes and traction in this area of accounts, read on to find out more.

Accounts Payable Support

What's the role:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to support the Accounts Payable Manager. You will be a key player in dealing with day to day management of the accounts payable function, help and support the team that process a high number of invoices, maintaining control of the accounts and optimising the existing processes where possible.

What will I be responsible for?

* Managing a team of 6
* Ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner (10 to 12K per month).
* Ensuring the generic inbox's are answered within 48 hours.
* Forecasting.
* Review unapproved invoices and a report to be sent out weekly.
* Managing the resolution of issues escalated from the AP team.
* Payment runs for the four entities including adhoc users
* Management of the debit balances, unallocated cash and aged invoices.
* Support/manage the transition from one business to another
* Ensure statement reconciliations are fully reconciled on a monthly basis.
* Audit support.
* Month end.
* Adhoc duties including processing of invoices.
This is a full-time role for six months and great exposure for someone looking for the next step up in responsibility or an experienced available individual happy to support this client on a few projects
