Accounts Payable Administrator Job in Salford, Greater Manchester

Job Description
Portfolio Credit Control are currently supporting a well-established Construction firm looking for an ambitious individual to join the finance function as a Senior Credit Controller. The business has seen continued growth and are very well-known in the sector, always focusing on personal development and encouraging their employees to grow within themselves and the business. This is a temporary position until the 31st of March 2023 and would suit someone slightly earlier in their career.

Main Responsibilities/Duties:

Maintain clean supplier ledgers
Work with Invoice Management to support in the resolution of supplier invoice issues
Own the management of supplier queries between supplier, FSSC, Kier business units, and Group Procurement
Manage and resolve internal invoice queries, ensuring debit balances are resolved quickly
Ensure supplier statements are reconciled and any queries are dealt with/escalated promptly
Ensure that all correspondence is dealt with promptly and escalation files are maintained

Candidate Requirements:

GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English Language
Proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Excel)
Have experience of Oracle and Causeway systems as a preference (but SAP and other systems experience is acceptable)
Basic knowledge of principles, practices, regulations and procedures relating to Accounts Payable function will be an advantage
